Accredited rating providers have the responsibility of ensuring the quality of rating services. Rating providers are responsible for administering rating programs. These responsibilities include:
- Certification of raters
- Selection of accredited rating software programs
- Rater and Rating quality assurance
- Providing assistance to the Rater
MABTEC uses REM/Rate™ as the accredited rating software for use by us and our Independent Raters.
Raters or "Rater Candidates" needing a Provider
MABTEC may certify independent raters (those who are already certified) or “rater candidates” (those who have passed the HERS Rater Test, but are not certified). MABTEC reserves the right to not certify a rater candidate or independent rater.
MABTEC is an accredited Rater Provider in the below listed states. If your state is not listed, please contact MABTEC for the possibility of adding the state.
