Class Refunds

This is the Basic Refund Policy for MABTEC training classes held at our office, for class room training. This does not include online training classes, training classes contracted by third parties where payment was made to the third party or other off-site classes. If the class has a specially applied refund policy, this will be noted on the class web page.

Q: What happens when if I can not attend the class for personal/emergency reasons?
A: Registration fees are Refundable under the following refund schedule when a student cancels a paid class registration:

HERS Rater and Rating Field Inspector Class

  1. Any refunds will have all exam fees deducted from the paid class registration fee before any refund rates are applied. When you register for the class, we register you for the exams and RESNET has a no refund policy.
  2. Cancelation 30 calendar days before the first day of class, 100% refund (less all exam fees and a cancelation fee of $25.00)
  3. Cancelation between 29 and 15 calendar days before the first day of class, 50% refund (less all exam fees and a cancelation fee of $50.00)
  4. Cancelation after 15 calendar days before the first day of class, there is No Refund and the Student is given priority to attend any of our next scheduled classes, at no additional charge.
  5. Students always have the option move their registration with priority, to any of the next scheduled classes, at no additional charge.

Combustion Safety and Work Scope (CAZ) Classes

  1. No Refunds. Due to the registration requirements, the ResCaz online simulation and pre-pay requirement, MABTEC cannot offer any refunds for this class or the exams.
  2. The Students will be given priority to move their registration priority to any of the next scheduled classes, at no additional charge.

Other classroom Training Classes held at our office

  1. Cancelation 30 calendar days before the first day of class, 100% refund (less all exam fees and a cancelation fee of $25.00)
  2. Cancelation between 29 and 15 calendar days before the first day of class, 50% refund (less all exam fees and a cancelation fee of $50.00)

DISCOUNT EXCEPTION

There are NO REFUNDS for any class registration fees when a discount or special offer is used to pay for the class. The Student will be given priority to attend any of our next scheduled classes, at no additional charge.


Q: What happens if I must leave during the class, for personal/emergency reasons?
A: During class, students who must leave the class for personal/emergency reasons, will be given priority to attend any of the next scheduled classes, at no additional charge.


Q: Registered and paid for the class with another Organization, I need to cancel?
A: Contact the other Organization as to their cancelation policy. MABTEC was only contracted to conduct the class and has no relation to the other Organization as to their payment and cancelation policies.


Q:Online classes offered by MABTEC Refund Policies
A: MABTEC does not currently offer any online classes. When offered, this policy will be updated.
